Students can complete a maximum of 10 modules per year. Core modules are compulsory. Students also select electives; in the Diploma cycle learners choose 4 electives out of 9 options. In the Degree cycle students choose 2 elective streams, each elective stream consists of 4 related modules.
The programme will also include supervised projects, company-based where possible, providing candidates with an opportunity to apply learning directly to the workplace. Students will be encouraged to undertake group projects and collaboration will be a cornerstone of the programme.
The programme will also systematically incorporate the development of personal transferable skills - such as problem solving, team-working and decision making skills - through structured learning objectives and assessment criteria. These skills will enable students to become self-reliant and adaptable, and increase effectiveness at both the personal and enterprise level.
